Jesus Portillo was the difference-maker for the Victoria Totems in what turned into a shootout with the Easton Caterpillars. Portillo, who is tied for 10th in the TR in triples with 3, went 2-for-3 in the 20-10 Totems win. The third-place Totems now have a record of 53-27.

Jordan Colmenero was 1 for 3 with 4 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Victoria. The 20-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring single off Chad McKee. It was his 96th hit of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Portillo told reporters after the game.
