The Paradise Island Pirates topped the Carrollton Rangers, 11-4, in TML R action at Predator Park. The standout performance belonged to Paradise Island pitcher and Orland Park, Illinois, native Mark Thomsen. Thomsen got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 10 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 3 runs. With the win over Carrollton, the Pirates improved to 55-25.

Tadaaki Ishii aided the Paradise Island cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
