Storm Need Extra Frames to Get Past Seawolves
The Wichita Storm outlasted the Erie Seawolves in an extra-inning thriller.

Erie pitcher Jose Correa gave the Storm all they could handle, but in the end, Wichita left Erie Park with a 4-3 win. Correa allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings. Wichita reliever Douglas Seddon picked up the win to move to 2-0. Arturo Pinada suffered the loss.

Wichita used the clutch hitting of Esteban Jimenez to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 14th inning to give the Storm the lead, 4-2. For the game, Jimenez had 1 single and 1 double in 7 at-bats.

"We've got a great group of guys," Jimenez said, "and we're having fun right now."

The Storm have an impressive 24-14 record.
