The Easton Caterpillars extended their losing streak with a defeat by the Caribbean Commies.

Vincent Navarro knocked in 5 runs to help Caribbean beat Easton, 12-1. Navarro produced 1 single and 1 home run. Francisco Castillo earned the win, while 17-year old right-handed pitcher Fidel de Arcos took the loss for Easton.

The Commies got a big hit from third baseman Alex Arroyos. Facing Easton pitcher Jason Kennedy in the bottom of the sixth, Arroyos pounded a grand slam home run to right. His 6th home run of the season put the Commies ahead, 10-0.

"We haven't been playing to the level we want to play," said Easton manager Mekonnen Asani.

The losses continue to mount for Easton, which has now dropped 9 in a row.
