Manchester Dismisses Brooklyn, 6-5
|
The Manchester Mooses managed to get by the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-5, at The Lava Flow. Manchester pitcher Joaquin Ramos set himself apart with his performance. Manchester has now won 4 games in a row.
Manchester used a clutch at-bat from Davis Batstone to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Mooses ahead, 6-4. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"Joaquin knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Manchester manager Rodney Beam.
