Tony Garcia was locked in. The left-hander led the Wichita Storm to a 5-3 win against the Manchester Mooses at The Storm Center. Garcia, now 1-6, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 11, walking 5, and allowing 2 runs. Carlos Lira earned the save, his 1st, for the Storm.

Heri Garay drew 2 walks against the Mooses. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run, putting Wichita in front, 1-0.

Wichita manager Daniel Carrasco was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
