The Frobisher Bay Caribou coasted to a win over the Wichita Storm, 18-0. David Falconi had a good day at the plate for Frobisher Bay. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 7. The second-place Caribou bumped their record to 48-25.

Shane Conner went 2-5 with a double and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for Frobisher Bay. The 19-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Danny Mejia. It was his 82nd RBI of the season.

Of the opposition, Wichita manager Jose Munoz said: "They hit fastballs, they hit breaking balls, they hit inside fastballs, they hit outside fastballs."
