Caribbean Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
The Paradise Island Pirates earned a close win over the Caribbean Commies, thanks in part to Pedro Godines. The Paradise Island left-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Earning his 1st save of the year was Rob Andrus. Caribbean, at 2-68, has lost 7 straight.

Dan Holmes helped out the Paradise Island cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Paradise Island manager Jeremy Learn.
