Loss to Thunder Extends Barbados Losing Streak
Key West starter Steve DeSimone had a strong outing against the Barbados Revenge at Gatorade Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Gabriel Aguirre got the save, the 6th for him this season. The last-place Revenge have lost 7 straight games.

Also pitching in was Key West shortstop Danny Alvarez, who hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, Alvarez went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
