Burton Helps Tribbles Defeat Lighting, 13-5
The 4-RBI night of center fielder Chris Burton, the 11th overall pick in the 2064 draft, helped the Rosewell Tribbles triumph, 13-5, over the Thunder Bay Lighting. Elias Colon was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Rivelino Sousal. The second-place Tribbles go to 46-24.

Bill Dotson, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2064 draft, took Thunder Bay hurler Rivelino Sousal deep in the bottom of the first. His grand slam home run put the Tribbles on top, 5-4. In all, Dotson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Burton told the Rosewell Gazette.
