The Savannah Peaches pushed past the Easton Caterpillars, 10-9, in 10 innings at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. Leo Carrizales was 5 for 6 with a triple and 4 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. The win went to Hideto Miyamoto in relief, making him now 2-1. Diego Alarcon took the loss for Easton. Orlando Vega locked down his 2nd save.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Mario Aleman came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Easton pitcher Diego Alarcon, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Savannah on top, 10-9.

"There's no victory at bargain basement prices," Carrizales told a reporter after the game.

Savannah has a record of 51-16, placing them first in the TML R Otto Velez Division.
