Storm Turn Back St. Paul, 3-1

Wichita starter Blaise Hughes put a stranglehold on the St. Paul offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Storm to a 3-1 win. The Storm, at 17-9, lead by one game in their division.
In the top of the fourth, Wichita designated hitter Valke Armstrong had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and one out, Armstrong stroked a run-scoring double to center. It made the score 3-1, Wichita. For the game, he went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Hughes. "But I have better dreams after a win."
