Ugalde Dazzles in The Stinging Win
|
The The Stinging Larvae got a magnificent effort from pitcher Eddie Ugalde, who kept Erie hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Larvae win at Erie Park. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Tristan Meyers. The Stinging is last in the TMLR Otto Velez Division with a record of 7-19.
Ugalde allowed no runs over 6.1 innings. He also racked up 8 strikeouts.
"I was able to get good plays made behind me," Ugalde said. "And I was able to make pitches when I needed to make pitches."
