Romero Excels, Thunder Bay Blows Out Easton
The Thunder Bay Lighting handed the Easton Caterpillars a sound defeat, 13-1, at Lightning Grove. Danny Romero was a main contributor to the win. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Thunder Bay. George Main, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held Easton to 1 run on 3 hits over 7.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts.
