Orange Sox Earn Win with Late Rally
The Syracuse Orange Sox picked up a win at Syracuse Fields, downing the Yuma Varmits, 5-4. On the mound for Syracuse was right-hander Miguel Merino, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winning continues for Syracuse, with the latest triumph making it 8 straight.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Syracuse third baseman Mike Bennett, facing Joe Morris, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Orange Sox the 5-4 win.

"I like our mindset right now," said Syracuse manager Abdul Razzaq Kharoti.
