The Rockville Rangers handed the Wichita Storm a loss at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. The final score was 24-5. Major production was provided by Oscar Mendez for Rockville. In addition to his 1 single and 2 home runs, he scored 3 runs and drove in 7. He also added 1 walk. Rockville reliever Alex Martinez got the win, raising his record to 6-1. Ricky Sanchez was tagged with the loss. The Rangers improved to 55-12.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Rockville manager Bill Gallagher. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
