Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Montreal Cardinals and Carrollton Rangers.

The Montreal Cardinals used the hitting of left fielder Alex Najera to subdue the Carrollton Rangers, 11-4. For the game, Najera went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Montreal pitcher Jose Lamorie earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Frank Peguero suffered the loss.
