Slumping Mooses Lose Again, 6-1
|
Chris DiDonato powered the Rockville Rangers to a win over the Manchester Mooses. The final score was 6-1. The Rockville catcher was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Alex Mendoza notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The losses continue to mount for Manchester, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from third baseman Danny Perales. For the game, Perales was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Rockville a 2-0 lead.
