Padilla Clouts 2 Homers in 4-3 Boca Raton Win
|
In a tight contest at Scripps Field, the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas edged the Caribbean Commies by the score of 4-3. Boca Raton designated hitter Ramon Padilla, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Juan Avalos, who went 7.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 10. His record now stands at 3-4. The Fighting Iguanas now own a record of 15-27.
