The Easton Caterpillars picked up a win at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker, knocking off the Key West Thunder, 8-4. Starting pitcher Dave Mayo played a key role in the triumph. Steve Davila nailed down his 1st save. The Caterpillars raised their record to 14-21.

Tony Araujo drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Easton. The 21-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Arturo Macias. It was his 6th walk of the season.

Araujo told a Easton Citizen reporter that the win made him feel "upbeat about our team."
