Key West turned a fine outing from starter Juan Aldana into a victory over the Brooklyn Cyclones at The Lava Flow. The final score was 7-2. The Thunder now have a record of 17-13.

Jason Merck, who is tied for 8th in the RR in home runs with 9, helped out the Key West cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder drew 2 walks.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Aldana.
