Brooklyn left fielder William Bowman had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Caribbean Commies at Castro Field as the Cyclones picked up a win, 5-3.

"He was patient up there," Brooklyn skipper Brett Beck told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Bowman has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

William Bowman singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Esteban Castaneda in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jon Castillo in the 9th.

So far this season, Bowman has gotten 43 hits in 97 at-bats for a .443 batting average with 6 home runs. His stats include 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 31 games.
