Victoria Tacks 5-2 Loss on Frobisher Bay
|
Victoria got a strong outing from Justin Jacobson as the Totems defeated the Frobisher Bay Caribou, 5-2, at Royal Athletic Park. The save was credited to Pierre Serre, his 2nd. Victoria is now 35-25, Frobisher Bay 42-18.
Bobby Prado came through for Victoria with a 2-run double in the bottom of the first. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
"Justin was the difference maker. He was emotionally under control, had good stuff and makeup," said Victoria manager Senta Nakano.
