Caribbean Loses Again, 3-1
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Caribbean Commies, 18-year old right-handed pitcher Teobaldo Ravasco proved to be the difference. The Brooklyn right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Cyclones win. Hector Alvarez zipped up his 1st save. Caribbean is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 13 in a row.
Brooklyn took a 2-0 lead on Tobias Koeck's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Koeck hit in the top of the seventh, left Caribbean pitcher James Dennis visibly frustrated.
Said losing manager Atamas Manas: "We've got to find a way to push a run across."
