Navarro Goes Deep Twice in 9-2 Commies Win
The Caribbean Commies finished off the Easton Caterpillars, 9-2. Much of the credit belonged to first baseman Vincent Navarro. Navarro slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Commies. Caribbean is now 12-16, Easton 2-26.

With Caribbean leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Navarro hit a fastball from Duncan Carter for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Commies ahead, 6-0.

Said losing manager Mekonnen Asani: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
