The Prince George Cougars and Scottsdale Scorpions left the fans buzzing.

The Scottsdale Scorpions finished off the Prince George Cougars, 10-0. Much of the credit belonged to second baseman Cody Reeves. Reeves went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Scorpions. Antonio Palacio was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Suaste.

With Scottsdale leading 6-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Reeves came up to bat against Prince George pitcher Edgar Monterroso. Reeves hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Scorpions on top, 9-0.

"Not one of our better nights," said Prince George skipper Sergio Martínez.

The Scorpions have an impressive 17-7 record.
