Caterpillars Take Nail-Biter Over Caribou
The Easton Caterpillars beat the Frobisher Bay Caribou, 4-3, in 13 innings. Easton pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Miguel Viramontes led the way. Isaias Trujillo, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. With the win over Frobisher Bay, the Caterpillars improved to 8-13.

Ricky Ortega delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 13th to win it for the Caterpillars. For the game, Ortega went 1-5 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Frobisher Bay manager Lao Lo.
