Hoskins hits 2 home runs in Cougars Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Prince George Cougars and Frobisher Bay Caribou.

Behind a fine performance from Richard Hoskins, the Prince George Cougars knocked off the Frobisher Bay Caribou, 10-6. Hoskins went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Cougars. The loss makes Frobisher Bay 11-8.

Prince George used the clutch hitting of Jeff Smeltzer to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Cougars the lead, 7-6. For the game, Smeltzer had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"There's losing your stroke and finding your stroke," said Hoskins. "I guess I've found mine."
