5-3 Loss Extends Brooklyn Skid
The Manchester Mooses topped the Brooklyn Cyclones, 5-3, in RCL R action at Moose Head Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Manchester pitcher Roberto Rodriguez. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Brooklyn.

The Cyclones had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Mooses going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old center fielder Joe Peckford came to the plate. Peckford hit a run-scoring double on a 1-1 fastball from Brooklyn hurler Jorge Arias. It was Peckford's 3rd double of the year.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Rodriguez.
