The Montreal Jazz wiggled past the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 7-6, in 11 innings at Field de Los Layendas. The win was highlighted by the performance of Montreal pitcher Manny Domenech. The winner in relief was Wolde-Selassie Ndegwa. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. The third-place Jazz are 41-37.

Chris Sheppard came through with a big-time hit for Montreal. The third baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
