The Victoria Totems defeated the Coronado Islanders, 13-3, at Royal Athletic Park. Victoria second baseman Luis Morales had a superb performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3. Justin Oakley earned the win to go to 6-1. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 13 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. The Totems now have a record of 35-15 with the win over Coronado.

Jesus Portillo, who is tied for 10th in the TR in hits with 65, chipped in a grand slam home run for Victoria in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 5 runs batted in.
