Trujillo Lifts Mooses to 17-8 Triumph
Manchester and Frobisher Bay got after it at Moose Head Stadium.

The Manchester Mooses cut down the Frobisher Bay Caribou by the score of 17-8, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Gerardo Trujillo. Trujillo went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Mooses. Manchester reliever Abraha Zilabamuzale picked up the win. Marco Enciso took the loss for Frobisher Bay.

Manchester third baseman Jose Alcantara helped the Mooses go up, 10-8, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Alcantara hit a 2-run single off Frobisher Bay pitcher Marco Enciso.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Alcantara told the Manchester Gazette.

Manchester is now 26-25.
