Jordan Bravo was the difference-maker for the Victoria Totems in what turned into a shootout with the Coronado Islanders. Bravo went 2-for-4 in the 14-10 Totems win. Victoria reliever Oscar Vega picked up the win to move to 1-0. Moises Pimienta suffered the loss. Victoria is now 34-15, while Coronado is 25-25.

Pablo Grijalva went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI for Victoria. The 19-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 10-10 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Moises Pimienta. It was his 44th RBI of the season.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Bravo told the Victoria Gazette.
