Caribbean got a strong outing from Francisco Castillo as the Commies defeated the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas, 2-1, at Scripps Field. The loss lowers the Boca Raton record to 0-11.

Danny Lopez had a direct impact on the outcome. Lopez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Caribbean up, 1-0.
