Caribou Win, Now 39-11

Frobisher Bay and Rockville got after it at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium.
The Frobisher Bay Caribou defeated the Rockville Rangers, 6-4, in part because of second baseman Javier Jimenez. Jimenez went 3-4 with 3 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Caribou. The Caribou move to 39-11 with the win, while the Rangers drop to 43-7.
Jimenez contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Frobisher Bay in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Jimenez took a fastball from Ricardo Aybar and stroked the double to left. His 16th double of the season allowed the Caribou to leap in front, 3-2.
Frobisher Bay manager Lao Lo commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
