The Carrollton Rangers topped the Manchester Mooses, 9-8, in 10 innings. Carrollton third baseman Luis Vargas, in particular, was impressive. He was 4 for 6 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Carrollton's record now stands at 28-21, placing them 4th in the RCL R Tony Fernandez Division.

The Rangers got a clutch hit from right fielder Victor Mejia. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rangers.
