Nutcrackers Use Late Score to Top Larvae, 2-1
The Stinging wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Alex Bustillos, falling to the Normal Nutcrackers, 2-1. Bustillos threw 9.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Normal reliever Jae-gor Park picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Alex Bustillos was saddled with the loss. The Stinging's current losing streak is now 7 games.

Manuel Flores came through with a big-time hit for Normal. The first baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Flores told the Normal Bulletin.
