Thanks in large part to shortstop Geoff Strobbe, the Montreal Cardinals beat the Sedona Sabercats, 11-6. Strobbe was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Pablo Cisneros earned the save, his 1st, for the Cardinals. The Cardinals improved their record to 35-13 by beating Sedona.

Montreal used the clutch hitting of Eduardo Acvedo to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Cardinals the lead, 9-5. For the game, Acvedo had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
