Oconto Falls third baseman Daniel Garcia picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Savannah Peaches, 6-5. Elias Gomez, who is tied for 6th in the TR in complete games with 1, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Orlando Vega. Oconto Falls currently is in 4th place in the TML R Fred McGriff Division at 28-19.

Garcia had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Orlando Vega, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Timbers a 6-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Garcia.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Garcia.
