Storm Get Past The Stinging for 4-3 Win
The The Stinging Larvae got a superb performance from pitcher Matt Collins. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Wichita. The Storm won the game, 4-3. In spite of the loss, Collins was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Wichita, at 4-1, has sizzled in the early going.

Edwin Tobias was the walk-off hero for Wichita. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Storm shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Tobias attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
