Cougars Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Rockville
|
The Prince George Cougars picked up a win at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Rockville Rangers, 6-2. On the mound for Prince George was right-hander Reid Starkey, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winning pitcher was Starkey, now 2-0. He tossed 6 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 2. Earning his 3rd save for Prince George was George Jean.
Prince George used the clutch hitting of Miguel Ochoa to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to give the Cougars the lead, 1-0. For the game, Ochoa had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
