The Paradise Island Pirates converted a terrific effort from starter Sergio Reyes into a win over the Rosewell Tribbles at Classified Field. The Pirates won the game by a final score of 4-1. Reyes got the win, improving to 7-4. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run. The loss makes Rosewell 32-14.

Paradise Island needed the clutch hitting of Naohisa Sasaki to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Pirates on top, 4-1. For the game, Sasaki had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
