Cougars Flush Caterpillars, 16-1
The Easton Caterpillars had their hands full with Prince George Cougars starter Cirilo Guerra, who frustrated Easton hitters while leading Prince George to a comfortable, 16-1 win. Guerra yielded 1 run over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 1-0. The Cougars, at 22-24, sit in third place in the RCL R Tony Fernandez Division.

Prince George used the hitting of Victor Baquera to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put the Cougars on top, 1-0. For the game, Baquera had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We got our butts kicked," said Easton manager Mekonnen Asani.
