The Caribbean Commies took Scottsdale pitcher Daniel Ramos's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Castro Field. The final score had Caribbean getting past the Scorpions, 3-2. Ramos went 7.2 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 12. Luis Landin, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. Robert O'Connor earned the save, his 1st.
