The Prince George Cougars put together a convincing win at The Back Draft, defeating the Caribbean Commies, 13-2. Jeff Smeltzer was one of the hitting stars. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Prince George. Ramiro Castellanos collected save number 2. The win puts Prince George at 6-1.

Smeltzer contributed in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Prince George get the win.

"The Cougars definitely had our number," said Caribbean manager Atamas Manas.
