It was a good day for the Lighting at The Drunken Wench Stadium as they clipped the Barbados Revenge, 26-0. It was tremendous day for Danny Romero, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-5.

"I don't know what to call that," the Thunder Bay center fielder told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well."

Danny Romero hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Humberto Baez in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Thorell in the 8th.

Currently Romero is batting .560 with 14 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 23 runs and scored 15 times.
