The Rockville Rangers extended their winning streak.

The Rockville Rangers had no problem beating the Brooklyn Cyclones, 14-3, at The Lava Flow. Danny Sanchez led the way. He was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Rockville. The winning pitcher was Jose Gallegos. He's now 4-0. He went 8.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Rangers.

Rockville used a clutch at-bat from Alfonso Rivas to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rangers ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Winning is always a team effort," Rivas said after the game.

The first-place Rangers hiked their record to 37-6.
