Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Brooklyn Cyclones as starter Luis Palacios shut them out, 11-0, at The Lava Flow. The Rockville pitcher struck out 7 and walked 3 while allowing 4 hits.

"Palacios was good but he wasn't flawless," Brooklyn manager Jerry Cruz said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Rockville, but this is on us."
