Falconi, Caribou Too Much for Rangers
The Rockville Rangers and Frobisher Bay Caribou riveted fans at Pittodrie Stadium.

The performance of David Falconi proved critical in helping Frobisher Bay beat Rockville, 9-3. The Caribou first baseman went 2-2 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Frobisher Bay has a record of 29-13, placing them second in the RCL R John Mayberry Division.

Shane Conner had a big grand slam home run for the Caribou in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Frobisher Bay leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Valdes and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Caribou on top, 7-0.

"We've got a great group of guys," Falconi said, "and we're having fun right now."
