The Nutcracker Suite hosted a classic slugfest.

Rosewell catcher Rodolfo Venegas helped his team beat the Normal Nutcrackers, 14-13. Venegas, who is tied for 5th in the TR with a .539 on-base percentage, went 3 for 4 for the Tribbles. The Tribbles bumped their record to 29-11 with this latest triumph.

With Rosewell trailing 13-12 in the top of the ninth, Venegas hit a fastball from Juan Espinoza for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Tribbles ahead, 14-13.

"I felt good about my swing," said Venegas.
