The Buffalo Bison scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Buffalo pitcher Carl Reusch held his own in the contest. In 7.2 innings, Reusch surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. Steve Hoefling earned his 18th save in 22 chances.

Khalil Easterling had a big run-scoring double for the Bison in the bottom of the third inning. With Buffalo leading 3-1 and a runner on 3rd, he got a fastball from Dan Brown, who finished 2nd in the TML in ERA with 3.86 in 2063, and swatted a double to left. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bison ahead, 4-1.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Buffalo manager Jon Green. "That's what Carl is right now."

The 4th-place Bison lifted their record to 44-44.
