Rangers Get 4th Straight Win with Late Rally
Rafael Mercado impressed in the 4-3 Carrollton win over Syracuse. Mercado, who is tied for 10th in the RR with a 1.117 OPS, was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Carrollton reliever Ricky Marquez picked up the win, while Julio Abreu took the loss for Syracuse. With the win, the Rangers hiked their record to 22-15.

Mercado had a timely hit for Carrollton in the bottom of the eighth. With Carrollton trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Carrollton.

Mercado attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
