Earthquakes Take 10-0 Pounding
|
No one was more impactful than Steve Frank in the 10-0 Montreal win over San Francisco. Frank was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Montreal upped its record to 92-69.
Malik Richie had a big 2-run double for the Mounties in the bottom of the third inning. With Montreal leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Ryan White, who finished 5th in the TML in ERA with 2.71 in 2058, and swatted a double to right. It was his 22nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mounties ahead, 3-0.
Frank told a Montreal Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
