Sasquatch Pocket 9-5 Win Against Pennsylvania
|
Pennsylvania left fielder Bobby Shaw had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Shaw went 2 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, even as Seattle beat the Butterflies, 9-5. The Sasquatch have now reeled off 6 straight wins.
Corbin Betts had a big grand slam home run for the Sasquatch in the bottom of the third inning. With Seattle leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he sized up a sinker from Mario Solis, who is tied for 4th in the RCL in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 36th home run of the season, which put the Sasquatch on top, 7-2.
"I like the roll we're on," said Seattle manager Alim bin Umar.
