The Bighorn Bison besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Walnut Creek second baseman Dylan Sullivan by beating the Warriors, 5-4, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Sullivan went 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Bison are now 64-96, while the Warriors fall to 75-85.

The Warriors had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Bison going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old second baseman Kyle Clemons came to the plate. Clemons hit a 2-run double on a first pitch fastball from Walnut Creek hurler Jose Manzanares. It was Clemons's 22nd double of the year.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Bison manager Yoshihiro Takahashi. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
